When we started with this idea, we decided it had to be together. If we are going to make polish, I am going to contribute as much as I can and that also means wearing the polish we create. Yes, I’m the husband and I’m painting my nails. I think it’s going to be a great conversation starter and marketing piece.
This is a hobby that Nadine and I can pursue together and I’m going to go all in. Which brings me to:
While the Wife is Away
My newest test polish. I had set out with the thought of making a green holo, but it ended up as a wicked cool silver holo instead. I’m disappointed, but I’m not complaining. You can see in this bottle shot that there is a tinge of green in the polish, but it didn’t come out on the first nail polish application.
The holo additive is going to take some time to figure out. I think it’s going to really overpower most anything we mix it into. It’s a shame we can’t get the raw powder form, but I totally understand the reasons.
It really doesn’t bother me like I thought it would. It’s like a tattoo that I can remove any time I want to. So let’s hear it,” is it weird for a husband to join his wife on her nail polish adventure? How about him wearing the product of their efforts?”
